Colour Leaders

Each year these people wait with impatience for the news about colour trends of the season. Spring is a real challenge for them. They want not only to see new colours, but to use them at once. They welcome news things and readily include new colours into their surroundings.

Women-leaders like looking through fashion magazines for information about new colour trends. You will recognize this personality type with ease by the suite of the ultra-fashionable colour. They don't care if the new-colour doesn't match the other objects. They readily spend money in order to keep pace with fashion. Men-leaders prefer using new colours for their automobiles and home electrical appliances. You have certainly seen this kind of men in cars of the most incredible colours.

No self-respectable leader will paint his or her house the same colour twice. And on buying a new house he or she will immediately re-paint it. There must be modern furniture and decor inside the leader's house. They love their houses not less than their clothes or their cars, and try to make them better - and the best. Often they use more than one new colour, taking their chances without hesitation. Being aware of a new colour score being in fashion, a colour leader would give more then $200 for coloured computer.

From the point of view of psychology colour leaders have very high self-esteem, inclined to adventure and aren't scared of new ideas. They don't hesitate to take risk, novelty attracts them. They don't wait for changes, they make them. From the point of view of economics colour leaders are the driving force of modern market. They spend a lot of money on themselves and feel that they deserve it. From the point of view of demography, leaders constitute about 20 per sent of population. Leaders are mostly women, and Americans of Spanish and African origin.

Interestingly enough, this category of people has quite distinctive age groups. First age group of colour leaders consist of teenagers and young people under thirty, who are very proud of their ability to keep pace with fashion.

And it is quite understandable. However, among colour leaders there are often people at the age of forty-five to sixty. Their children have grown up and the income has become stable. Now they may use new colours to feel younger and stronger. They undergo some kind of soul-searching and they try to chase their use again.

It's not a surprise if you entered this category as well as half the population. Colour moderates are very careful about choice of colour. They want to feel safe, that is why they buy new colours only being sure that they will be in fashion next season. Spending their money on something they must be sure that the new item is worth it, and they will not have to get rid it. They don't want to be at the front edge of fashion, however, they believe that colour brings spice in their life. They are interested in new trends and often look through fashion magazines. But they are more interested in stable proved trends.

Occasionally you may see a colour moderate wearing the same colours as leader, but those colours are very likely to have appeared in his or her wardrobe recently, while a colour leader is about to forget them. Often trying a new colour a moderate brings it into use carefully, step by step. Once he or she determines to try new accessories he or she combines new colours with traditional customary ones.

A colour moderate person is ready to change but they do it carefully and slowly. Usually they are practical and well informed people. They want the changes to be functional and useful during the long period of time. They are very attentive and prefer more gentle hues of a new colour. Impulsiveness doesn't reside on the moderate person's character. But they are not also inclined to stay in shadow. Though the idea of renovation of the wardrobe or the house doesn't inspire them, still time after time they can try even some critical changes.

Both men and women can be colour moderates. As a rule middle-class people represent this type of colour personality
